Mark is the Co-Director for the LEADS Program, Associate Director of the MSA program, and Director of Inter- professional Education for the Anschutz Medical Campus:
Mark's advocacy work has focused on expanding access to care for Colorado's families, reducing conflicts of interest amongst providers, media advocacy, and promoting prevention through policy.
Shale is an Associate Professor, Pediatrics and Co-Director for the LEADS , Director of Medical Student Education and Mentored Scholarship in Pediatrics:
Shale advocates for children's health pursuing expanded coverage and access to outstanding quality of care. She is developing a medical legal partnership at The Children's Hospital and is currently studying health policy and reform at the federal level.

Steve has used his experience as a clinician working with underserved families to advocate for improved health coverage and access to care for kids in Colorado. His contributions on behalf of LEADS have been to help students develop their interest and skill in Health Policy and expanding the physician's role in the legislative process.

Kathy Kennedy, DrPH
Associate Clinical Professor of Community and Behavioral Health at the Colorado School of Public Health, University of Colorado Denver, and Director of the Regional Institute for Health and Environmental Leadership. She is Vice-President of the Colorado Foundation for Public Health and the Environment:
Kathy provides advanced leadership and advocacy training to public health, environmental health and health care professionals in the Rocky Mountain and four corner states.

Cathy is Director for LEADS Community and Student Liasons. She is also Assistant Professor at the Colorado School of Public Health and Department of Family Medicine and an Associate Director, Health Services Research for the PhD Program.
Karen is the Professional Research Assistant for the LEADS Program assisting our students with COMIRB applications and mentored scholarly activity research.
